Well done to the authorities for bringing these offenders to justice.
An appalling catalogue of crime. We can only hope that our legal masters will take a long overdue look at sentencing options for offenders such as this. A good many of the sentences appear derisory. The law abiding citizen needs to be protected against such criminals.
Well done also to the Leicester Mercury for publishing important information in this manner. In an age when local newspapers have hit rock bottom, and many are little more than cheap advertising rags, it's good to see a local media outlet trying to serve the community in a positive manner.
