Evolution - what are little girls made of?

I was watching tv and startrek 1966 version was on. the drop the evolution word quite
often in the show. in the episode entitled - what are little girls made of, Kirk is captured
by a scientist that's been converted to android, his memories, his soul all in the android.
At the end he tries to convince nurse chapel and Kirk that he is still human.
he says 'I'm not a computer, test me, ask me to solve... equate,transmit, let me prove myself
I AM Roger Corby.. i proved it, proved it. at this point he realizes he's not human anymore.

Evolution they say is a natural process. But they cannot wait to for a 100,000 years for it
to make life better for the human condition , so they talk about circumventing it?
gene manipulation, Artificial intelligence, splicing this and that - hybrids.
once that happens, it becomes un natural - nature is not doing it? it's man that is doing it
- it's therefore nothing to do with evolution?
this proves evolution is a philosophy. man is fulfilling the scripture... you shall be like God.
using knowledge to make yourself immortal?
thinking machines and matrix existence. all because mortality and death is scary.
