Quite funny listening to him and my sister (technophobes) talking about it as if it was a person. i.e. 'she told us to turn left but we knew she was wrong, so we went straight on and the road was closed'. And, 'she said turn right but it looked like a farm track so we turned left and she was telling us to turn around'.
Anyway, if it's the same woman who was talking to us on the A1M, she wants sorting out!
She told us to take the next right.....(on a motorway?)!
Apparently it's a female trait! If they are heading south, they have difficulties trying to read a map and, as a result, someone published maps with the south at the top!!

Many languages (perhaps even most>) use the gender in the pronoun, English kind of lost it back in the day.
It's a total pain in the ar*e, it makes it quickly obvious if you haven't went learned the totally and completely pointless gender of a noun, making languages much harder to end and you more obviously an uneducated foreigner. Like so regardless of the voice, if the gender for satnav was female, he'd be correct in saying she anyway.
IMHO this alone justifies Brexit for them having stupid languages.
I have no idea if brain dead Social Just Warrior snowflakes in France and Germany are demanding a fourth gender pronoun (after neuter) for Transgender, wouldn't surprise me. ****wits.
