are they supposed to change their 200 year old system then to suit her?
Report Ron-Russian • November 10, 2016 11:38 AM GMT
agree, it doesn't seem fair, i didn't used to like the system, but i do now Laugh
Report Ramruma • November 10, 2016 11:42 AM GMT
It's the system and Hillary knew that from the start.

It is worse in Britain because it has been decades since either Labour or Conservative got more than half the votes at a general election (because of course there are more than two parties).

Oddly enough, this is the second time it has happened to Hillary -- she got more votes than Obama in the primaries but he won more delegates so became nominee then president.

i suppose its easier to create more votes when you concentrate on campaigning in your strongholds and give up trying to get votes in area,s you,ve decided you,ve no chance, but there black vote was down, young vote down etc, etc, whilst trump obviously targeted and got the votes required in the right area,s,cant remember to many leftie luvies worrying about ukip getting 1 mp for over 4 million votes, Laugh

The system will reduce turnout in many states so you will never know who would win unless you just had a popular vote.
