Trident will cost 100 billion. a billion is a thousand million.
So 100,000 million. for this generation trident from the USA.
EU get 350 million a year.
100,000 divided by 350 = 285 years.
so trident costs the equivalent of 285 years of EU contributions.
so reasonable - for something if used kills us all.
we have the warheads - we make those. Lets just mothball them.
or just keep the subs we have and say we have them locked and loaded.
