Serious question. Where can I buy this fruit? (fresh or frozen) I've tried every supermarket including M&S but no luck. I'm not joking but surely Ribena can't have the monopoly?
Feckin mystery to me. I can buy any other type of berry apart from blackcurrants.
Truth be told they are supposed to be a 'superfood' with plenty of that good stuff in them.
I know this sounds weird but there's no shortage of Ribena???

It has to be a case of supply and demand. A few years ago you never saw a fresh blueberry, now they are everywhere. Blackcurrants are easy to grow but you need a bit of space. Birds eat most of mine. Some very healthy blackbirds who repay me with their song so it's a win-win situation.

Purple coloured sugary water .
But the ads tell a different story
EU should have banned the advertising .
This time of year you will get REAL blackcurrants (they grow on bushes) at PYO farms all over the place
