Good news.  We should kill magpies - they slaughter so many smaller birds/eggs.  Vague feeling they're relatively recent immigrants too.

Don't you say "Good morning, Mr Magpie" when you see one on its own? Personally, I can never be bothered to stop the car, catch the booger, turn it upside down and find out its internal plumbing. So I just run over it.
