it was just a suggestion of what we might be able to do when we leave the EU
VAT was brought in to fund us joining Common Market.
It will be scrapped altogether.
We can go back to purchase tax.

think many dont realise vat or the eu equivalent will have to have been paid by the time goods arrive at customs from the uk once we leave...in line with how other trade deals.
