it pretty much went unreported by the mainstream luvvie darling Remain desperados in the meeja, but Kirklees - the area dominated by her constituents - voted Leave with a majority far higher than the national one. Given the amazing outpouring of grief there, wall-to-wall media coverage, her husband's TV slots and relentless minute silences in the patch (I was involved in 5 just going about my day-to-day business) it's one of the more remarkable results. But one the Beeb and Co did not feel was worth highlighting. Strange that.

I think the her area that she was an MP for voted 'leave'.

I don't know about her being 'forgotten' as, for example, Glastonbury are supposedly putting together some excruciatingly cringeworthy-sounding 'tribute' album to her this weekend.

There's certainly more that we need to hear about her political and personal achievements that haven't been broadcast to date.

After her assassination I heard a lot about how she helped unknown 'refugees' on the other side of the world. I'm looking forward to hearing about all she did for the sexually-underaged white girls of Yorkshire, groomed and raped on an industrial scale by paedophiles of Pakistani Heritage in the last decade or more. I want to know all that Yorkshire MP Jo Cox did to :

(a) Support and comfort the thousands of victims

(b) Ensure that the rapists were hunted down like rabid dogs, brought to justice and exposed thereafter

© Ensure that the persons in authority who turned a blind eye to the crimes, connived to protect the criminals and blame the victims, were then exposed to the world and made to account for their actions.

I didn't catch all the fulsome tributes that were made to Mrs Cox when Parliament was recalled, so it's possible one or more MPs may have had something to say about this. Also seen nothing in any of the acres of media coverage devoted to her political 'achievements'. This can't be right, surely?

Will any of the moneys raised by this 'Tribute album' be going to the victims of sex crimes in her beloved Yorkshire?

The 'People' kicked out Churchill after he won world war 2 and voted for Nixon after two Kennedy assassinations.

Most of the time its all pretend empathy, because at the end of the day people just look out for themselves.
