Anyway, I dreamt that Nichola Sturgeon dreamt about the League Cup last night, and Motherwell finished ahead of Elgin City, Brechin City and St. Mirren, winning all three games in Group B. It was an outstandingly mundane dream, but at least the ticket prices for all games were under a tenner. Sturgeon tried to buy Bovril at the 'Well V Brechin game, but the caterers had ran out of the beefy drink and she had to settle for ginger and sweet chilli Kung-Po noodles instead, with a buttered breakfast roll and some Irn Bru.
