dunno, but just heard a checkout girl in Tesco asked a Dutch couple in front of me  if they'd like a hand packing their bags.
I didn't realise they'd be starting the deportations this quickly tbh ..

Not really sure. I've decided that this applies to the Brexit vote:

I didn't vote mainly because I live abroad and it would have been a hassle, but also because I just don't really understand the consequences of leaving. I guess I would have gone for Remain because it seems less risky.

Lots of people, including Chit Chatters, have said things like "It's quite simple, it boils down to X". I disagree. I think what they mean is "It's so complicated that even experts don't understand it and disagree with each other, so I've decided to pretend it's only about X."

I don't think it was a good idea to hold a referendum about something that the average bloke doesn't have a hope of understanding.

No real idea whether or not it will end up benefitting Britain or whether it makes recession inevitable. Seems likely, though.

Whatever happens to the economy our democratic process is back in place.

We have taken back control of our country, and we will be in charge of making our own laws in future.

We'll still trade with the EU, but without their ability to rule on almost everything that is our own affair.
I've seen no credible reason why leaving the Eu should accelerate any forthcoming recession.

As jolly says, we've already been plunged into debt, and that was while were members of the EU.

I have to agree with you, PTC. I didn't vote because I still didn't understand everything that was going on (and didn't want to either).
