I suppose it's too early and too big an ask of the Remainders to embrace the change and potential which may be now let loose in our country.

Given the doom-laden, personalised and 'embrace the status quo' nature of the Remain campaign, then this result would always result in a fixation on the exchange rate (a good thing in that it forces Mark Carney to resume work as a banker rather than the politician he so clearly aspired to be) and dire warnings of a Farage / Boris coup d'etat.

All this will pass.

Next month we will still have a democratically elected Conservative government and, assuming Osborne drops his risible threat of an emergency budget, one with an election manifesto pledged a short time ago, to deliver.

Britain meanwhile, has discovered a sense of national pride and adventure and has put into action a train of events that will make our economy nimble and entrepreneurial and that has mandated our politicians to go and work harder than they have ever known to deliver bespoke trade deals for us, with a world beyond 'Little Europe'.

The EU laughed the Prime Minister out of the room when he asked for reforms , flexibility on their side may have been enough to keep the UK in , but they are unelected affluent idiots.

Veiled threats from the US President , the EU , all the parties and the luvvies they rolled out did nothing but put the electorates back up .
This type of fear politics did nothing in the US to stop the public voting for Donald Trump neither did it scare people into voting Remain.

Labour MP's in the majority wanted to Remain yet their voters did not , how out of touch were they ?
At least their leader was the only one to admit that you cannot control migration with the Freedom of Movement of Labour in the EU .

I did think a lot of people claiming to vote Leave would bottle it ......I was glad to be wrong.

And wasn't it good to be part of the first election in forty years where every vote counted and weighed the same , rather than a number of marginal seats deciding the  future.
