I passed by fields of beautiful Buttercups on Monday. Thought they looked amazing. Looked up why there was so many on google that night. Google said they mark the start of Summer. It also pointed me to a site by Pacemaker the horse magazine for trainers. Gave warnings to trainers not to let your horse graze in fields of buttercups as they cause stomach problems. I felt I learned something.
today I passed the same fields.... zzzzzzzz.... all cut down by council lawnmower man. All gone. Millions of buttercups obliterated.

Could these council nuts not wait a couple of weeks to let the bees get the benefit?
just got bleach burnt grass left. Wonderful and uplifting outcome. it's neater though.
