Dug a few snooker, pool and billiard balls out of the attic.

A tray of random balls.  The Playboy black ball started my collection about thirty years ago.

Whilst on the subject, these originals are quite rare as they were only available for one season before being superseded.  I ordered them directly from the Playboy magazine.  I also ordered Miss January but, alas, she's no longer available either.

These were won in a tournament.  Crop up online occasionally, often with wildly fluctuating price tags.

A set of Stars and Stripes, marketed by an American company called Elephant Balls.  I always thought this brand name was ill-advised considering the game's shameful past regards the ivory trade.

Another tray of individual balls.  The 6 and 14 spots, if you hadn't already guessed, are glow-in-the-dark balls.

A set of chequered balls manufactured by a company called Stirling, sadly no longer trading.

These were a tournament prize, along with a case of Johnnie Walker Blue Label which later sold for $800.

To the best of my knowledge this set is very rare in mint condition.  They seldom appear online, and when they do they're usually badly worn.
