Young British knob heads at it again - put them on the "No Fly Site"...Angry

Six members of the group were said to have become unruly during the flight, forcing the pilot to make an unscheduled stop in Berlin and remove the passengers concerned from the flight.
German newspaper Bild said the men became aggressive when they were refused alcohol.
Local police said the drunken Britons, aged 25 to 28 and from Southampton, were met by officers upon landing at Schoenefeld airport. They now each face fines of up to 25,000 euros (£19,700) and civil claims from the airline.

No alchohol should be served on any flights. I know it's unfair on sensible consumers but it's just not worth the risk. In the meantime fine away and lock them up.

My wife and I were on a plane ...Bangkok to London (EVA Air) and a couple of "young dumbs" started to kick off, getting more
and more Pi ssed, abusive, swearing and insulting some of the passengers.
The thing that got me ...know one was doing anything about it !!! WTF
So I got up ...had a word in their ears - threatend they'd for certain be put on a "No Fly List" and never fly again if they didn't shut up.
Bingo that shut them up !!!
Next thing the the Air Hostesses came and thanked me and gave us a large bottle of champagne.

Is 25 to 28 "young"? I'm prepared to make allowances for borderline 18-year-olds who might not be used to alcohol but these adults have been out of school for the best part of 10 years.

I've always said this but if this country had just a dozen men of Rockinron's standing, well we would be free of a lot of the problems that currently irk us.

Well done that man.

transparent policy of profit over safety,100% certain alcohol should be banned on flights, incredible it has happened,

I would love to listen to the debrief when these clowns sober up. They should confiscate their passports and point them in the direction of the migrant route to Calais.
Report Ron-Russian • February 28, 2016 1:12 PM GMT
is the punchline ron...

You ended up drinking so much champagne you had to be escorted from the
plane! Silly
Report Hamsterdam • February 28, 2016 3:12 PM GMT
I would guess alcohol is responsible for 0% plane fatalities. Still surprised it allowed in this day and age though...and why you would want to get drunk on a plane anyway?
Report brendanuk1 • February 28, 2016 3:24 PM GMT
typical southerners couple of shandies and they soil their pants
Report PatraTheCat • February 28, 2016 3:49 PM GMT
While getting drunk to the point of rowdiness on a plane seems very silly, given that flying is really fecking boring and somehow slightly stressful at the same time, a couple of glasses of wine is an absolute must imo. If some airlines started banning booze, I'd seriously factor it in when booking flights.

I'd be well up for drinking and non-drinking sections on places though: I sit in the písshead section, you lot sit in the family section, everyone's a winner.
Report postmannick • February 28, 2016 5:46 PM GMT
shoot the feckers I say
Report PatraTheCat • February 28, 2016 6:48 PM GMT
Well, it's an open forum and I respect your right to your opinion: in this case, that I should be shot.

poor lads save up all year for a beano on the cheap drink abroad then spend the last 6 hrs before they get their cheap booze, paying for the dearest drinks in the uk in airport bars and in flight booze, clever boys these lads

6 or 7 pints when you could get stuck in a holding pattern is braindead in itself imo. Nothing wrong with a couple.

It's as much stag do mentality as anything else. Fck knows why these are such big events.

Once on a flight to Spain there was youngish guy acting the hard man because he needed a p1ss just after take off and the seatbelt sign was still on. Came back calling the stewardess all the names under the sun, when 10 minutes previously he was whimpering like a dog at take off.

After a few more drinks he shouted "YES!!!!!!!!! WE'RE ON OUR HOLIDAYS NOW!!!!!!!!" as soon as the plane touched the ground.

Once my mum and dad were going to Spain and the flight was delayed so they got vouchers. This group of young boys asked my dad "can we buy drink with these?" It was about 7am. On the way back my dad asked them if they had a good time. They got kicked out of their hotel after the second night and had to get money wired out - their holiday was all inclusive and they didn't take any money at all with them. They thought literally everything was free.

Flew from Liverpool to Dublin with a Scottish stag party(well they were all wearing kilts although some of them sounded English) and they were warned in the airport bar that if they didn't quiet down they wouldn't be allowed to fly. They were allowed on but the cabin staff were told not to serve alcohol to anybody on the flight which was a ballache as I fancied a quick Jamesons on the way over. They weren't bad lads just to p1ssed to fly imo.

Report Clouseau • March 1, 2016 11:14 AM GMT
They should introduce an addition to the pre-flight safety announcement by saying, "For your comfort and safety we would like to advise passengers that Rockinron is flying with us today so bear that in mind if you are thinking of kicking off..."Cool
Report morpteh mackem • March 1, 2016 11:53 AM GMT
why not have kamikaze pilots so if people kick off they can threaten to crash the plane ?
Report rob_dylan • March 1, 2016 11:55 AM GMT
I must have flown over a hundred times and by far the most common nuisance on flights is screaming babies and children.  I know what I would be banning first on flights and it ain't alcohol.

Report Ramruma • March 1, 2016 12:37 PM GMT
It is worth asking to what extent the problem is booze rather than just a large group of boorish prats who even if sober may well have been shouting to each other several rows away.
Report postmannick • March 1, 2016 12:43 PM GMT
ramruna- that is a fair and valid point and I think your spot on ........no other answer but to shoot the feckers I say
