As my username suggests "RockinRon" ....I like a bit of music so went to the "Spotify" website and downloaded it ! Now you basically get two options (?) ....pay nothing with ADS...or pay and I guess no ADS. I opted for the free option. Started dowloading some free songs etc ...lovely I though - I like this site it's free and I'm downloading some really good numbers. Logged out of Spotify ...went to go on Betfair - Jesus my computers running slow - I can't get on ! The BStard site Spotify... has also downloaded a whole mass of bleedin awful "Spyware" ! Including a nice little bug called "Websnare" ... Of course I then "Uninstalled" Spotify but it took me another 4 hours to get of all the peripheral crap/spyware Spotify had conned me with ....Bastards !

Rockinron - I'm sure you already did, but one has to be very careful what boxes one ticks and unticks during the application process. The options need to be looked at VERY carefully.

I've had Spotify for a couple of years. No problems here, apart from the usual poor sound quality one gets from all streaming services i.e.sound too hard, too bright,no warmth or depth.Probably OK for pop shoite, but not so good for music.

Regarding "RockinRon" to clear things up - I used to play in a Band/Rock group in the late 60s, early 70's - I also owned a very well known "guitar Shop" in the 90,s - not one of my better investments ! I have a collection of Fender Stratocaster Guitars ...one signed "To Ron Eric Clapton'99" Trust that clarifys things !
