Of course, I meant The Lightning Seeds

Yes, the link does work, and just good to listen to stuff again.

Crazy isn't it, but I have "more than a few" CDs, DVDs Vinyl and all the rest but somehow many just don't get a play for ages,
until something, like yesterday, reminds me.

The Life of Riley was always Des Lynam's 'go to' choon for the background music when reading out the headlines on Grandstand (RIP)

....'cept when it was 'The Way It Is' by Bruce Hornsby & The Range

Some of their tunes were good but his lyrics were so wet and cringing, "lemon flavoured lollipops ..." etc type of stuff. Always saw them as lightweight teenybopper indy tbh.

Pure magic

Telling Tales. Beautifully simple.

I thoroughly recommend the 1994 album 'Jollification'. Full of terrific hits and my CD jewel box actually smells of strawberry to go with the sleeve art.

Cracking album. Only ever listen to CDs when driving - I'm inspired to go and root this bad boy out of the cupboard and stick it in the car for tomorrow.

Here's some encouragement for you.
