Try watching the ITV version - that will give some indication of how much further there is to sink.

People DO play hide and seek in IKEA. Mr Nibbs has been missing for a couple of months.

I watched ITV news at 10:00 last night for the first time in years. What the hell is all that about? The newsreader bookended almost every story with a "so what does this all mean", "how will this affect you" type question. Just give us the story, we can work things out for ourselves.

I watched this and was disappointed to see the IKEA boss lapse into pseudo-political non answers and corporate speak. Would have been a breath of fresh air if her response had been...

"Steph, I respect you as a business journalist, but I'm the chief exec of a major company that provides employment to 78,000 people in the UK, and we're here to discuss our expansion into new store formats resulting in further employment as well as trading opportunities for our entire supply chain. Since the BBC has only allocated us three minutes for this interview, don't you think it's somewhat childish and beneath you to waste thirty seconds of it asking me a trivial question about the behaviour of a handful of customers in an individual store where any decisions would clearly be handled by staff and management on site"
