It is incredibly easy. I uploaded one from my Ipad the other day - took 30 seconds.
If you upload to Youtube then you remove the copyright from you to them.

It's a great opportunity to get creative, in the biggest marketplace in the world.
I think I get the basic deal - if you're popular, Google interpolate the advertisements and cut you in if they think you can sustain your promise. I don't suppose any of us have experience of this.

Ovalman that clip has no adverts so why would he make money?
Giving up all the copyright ownership is incorrect as well. When motogp or F1 (or any company that has expensive highlight rights) put a video up that doesn't give every Tv station on the planet a right to start showing it for free.
