“Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places and they'll start to show really old films on the telly. All these are the beginning of birth pains."

"I Took My Baby on A Saturday Bang. Boy Is That Girl With You, Yes We're One And The Same. Now I Believe In Miracles, And A Miracle Has Happened Tonight. But, If You're Thinkin' About My Baby watching films It Don't Matter If They're Black Or White"

The blame could lie with the Boogie I suppose.

It's better watching a cheap film with little know actors than watching the same old repeats time after time.

And there are a pile of new channels now showing old B films.
Perhaps the BBC and ITV are getting the message.

I like watching old films. Often have a quick look at BBC iPlayer when there's nothing on, and there's invariably one or two decent oldies that I guess
were on at some obscure time during the week, which I missed first time round.

I'd rather watch films from the 30's then any other decade..

there are some real curiosities.
Saw one which was a Saint film from the 40s. Bizarrely the bloke playing Simon Templar had a distinctive New York accent but everyone kept banging on about him
being a 'suave Englishman.' Already tongue in cheek it made it more of a comedy.

Looked like they couldn't be bothered looking for a Brit actor. Or maybe they were thin on the ground due to the war.

More likely aye. Especially if it was before 41'
