Conservative Business Minister Anna Soubry, Shadow Home Secretary Andy Burnham, former editor of Le Monde Natalie Nougayrede, Daily Mail columnist Max Hastings and Al Jazeera broadcaster Mehdi Hasan join David Dimbleby for a debate in London.
Interesting panel tonight. Max Hastings books are good. That hypocrite Hasan who was caught out attacking the Daily Mail, then grovelling letters from him to the Daily Mail begging to get a job were produced

I've noticed how lefties / people who hate Assad / ignorant tw*ts like C4 news, equate ALL people killed in their civil war as the fault of Assad. Which is pretty stupid, there are two sides in that fight.

Hasan is always full or stupid populist leftie soundbites trying to get a clap from the leftie audience, every time he's on. I'm just surprised he's not said something about blaming it on bankers bonuses or fat cats yet..

Months ago people with sense were pointing out the very problems that idiots are only seeing now, and ridiculed. And many people like Hass still aren't even admitting the problems yet. .. depressing.

It's pretty clear no one on the panel has got a clue how to solve the Syria problem, let alone the problem posed by ISIL.
There was a little talk about putting Assad back in the short tern. Which is what I reckon will happen. That would take us back to before start of the war, and before ISIL was installed there, and us admitting we were wrong all along about going against Assad.

Soubry is shocking, so bad she's on the verge of making Andy Burnham look credible.
The Independent owner and the former Le Monde editor offer a different perspective and can hardly get a word in edgeways.

Max Hastings- we have to be sure that we don't make things worse ffs. Our own citizens beheaded home and abroad. 250 children massacred by machine gun in a ditch by isis as well as citizens being blown up with explosive devices put around their necks. Innocent plane passengers slaughtered. A firecracker goes off in a civilised city like Paris with everybody scampering around and taking cover thinking they are going to be on the other end of a terrorist bullet and a bunch of spineless leaders such as Cameron Corbyn and Obama showing prevarication beyond belief. What more will it take.

Mehdi Hasan was the one who slagged off the Daily Mail on QT.
So the Daily Mail published the letter that he'd sent them asking for a job. And they'd turned him down.
He made a complete laughing stock of himself.

Postman Pat not on tonight. It's Liz Kendall, the leader Labour should have voted for .
Hopefully she'll have her back stabbing knife ready
