eh - they're all hidden. If you become unemployed they sign you off 'by mistake' or sanction you - taking you off the unemployment register. Some jump from one benefit to another to escape from their so helpful job adviser that never offers you a job but finds ways to stick it to you. the only real place to get a job now is the job agencies. but some of them are at it too.

I agree zorrostrikes, people are being forced off benefit. Because they cannot hope with the conditions for JSA
they are unjust and excessive.

I know people who have no income at all, or others have to survive on ridiculously low incomes,
A lot of these so called jobs are just hourly contract jobs, and very poor wages.

Where I am there no jobs, all the jobs that used to be there in 2008 have disappeared.
I have never known things relatively as bad as they are now, in my lifetime.
(I accept our standard of living has risen)

job prospects in north east seem to be as poor as they have been for a long time

so sad to see so many people almost without hope

money for investment is spent in more politically sensitive areas

what about this northern powerhouse ?
