I bought my grandson a camera for his birthday in July and just heard from my son that it is faulty.
The camera is a Fujifilm "Finepix T400" The message displayed on screen when you turn it on is this. "turn off the camera and turn on again" Turning the camera on and off again does nothing. The battery is fully charged. I can flick through menu options but cannot take any photos.
I've sent the manufacturers contact details to him but, in the meantime, can anyone offer advice please?
We have a fair assortment of people, with all sorts of experience, but in the end will just ask the manufacture.
That's why I'm asking on here as you never know!We have a fair assortment of people, with all sorts of experience, but in the end will just ask the manufacture.
Plenty of responses on this site. Many that fixed the problem. Try some of the 'fixes' they might work for you too.

Thanks Facts. I already looked there and sent it on to James.
Most are talking of different models as it's a forum for "Fuji X Cameras. though I guess it could be a universal problem
One does talk of the same camera but has no response. Helpfully there is a link to another forum.
