Lewis Mackay   [ Eng ] lost to Wellington Jighere  [Nigeria]

Did Nigel Richards play?  He's virtually unbeatable in the matches I've seen.

Perth in Australia.  By sheer coincidence, however, Perth in Scotland was hosting the World Rabble Championships at the same time.

I can remember Nigeria Vs Germany a few years ago. You can guess how that was abbreviated on TV!

Nigel Richards played.

got off to a slow tart losing his first two games but finished fairly well to finish 8th.

Top 10 after 32 games

1 Wellington Jighere (NGA) 25 +1347
2 Lewis Mackay (ENG) 23.5 +1054
3 Esther Perrins (AUS) 22 +1125
4 Komol Panyasoponlert (THA) 21.5 +1031
5 David Wiegand (USA) 21 +1200
6 Marlon Prudencio (SGP) 21 +640
7 Evans Clinchy (USA) 20.5 +1326
8 Nigel Richards (NZL) 20 +1287
9 Craig Beevers (ENG) 20 +913
10 Austin Shin (ENG) 20 +910

The top 2 players played a best of 7 final which was won 4-0 by the Nigerian.

I believe 3rd is the best ever finishing position by a female.

Wellington is looking for a willing British partner to help him transfer his AU$1M prize money to the UK.  Your personal email will arrive soon.

curious - I have to say I enjoyed your 19.07 post.  It's an uphill battle if you get off to a "slow tart". I'd have gone for trawls.

I can hardly believe the prize money is so small. with a world audience it must be possible to increase it .perhaps by an entrance fee for the players
