I was just putting my golf ball down to tee off, when I spotted the words imprinted on it ... maximum distance.  WTF , not the way I hit it.

And I thought about the daft things marketing people bave said/written

A Mars a day helps you work, rest and play ... no it doesn't - it makes you a fat fookerwith rotten teeth

You'll wonder where the yellow went when you clean your teeth with Pepsodent - no you won't, it goes down the sink with the enamel that protects your teeth

You're never alone with a Strand - at least that's true ... you'll (unfortunately) meet others with smoking related diseases in the local hospital

Marks and Spencer - there's no Plan B ... FFS they haven't even got a Plan A

The listening Bank ... that uses a call centre and doesn't answer and ceratinly doesn't listen

I could go on ... and on, and on. Why do companies use them?

"Up to 100% protection"...so from zero protection then.

"Kills 99% of all known germs"....did someone actually count them?

The best advert I've ever seen was for a cold relief.

Along the bottom of the screen was written

May help to relieve the symptons of colds and flu.

Almost every word tells you it ain't gonna cure your cold or flu.

Anti ageing cream

If it worked it would be sold out, just attacking the weak people on this planet.

The advert should be banned.
