For years the National Lottery was an unlikely dream for £1 a go and there were some lucky people who scooped the pool. In the space of a couple of years they've made it £2 per line and now the"opportunity to choose new numbers". I know enough people who have given it up now, their entrenched regular numbers don't have the same impact as they did on the old format and now the odds of winning are even bigger. Whoever thought this was a good idea should be sacked but at least they've saved a quite a few people a regular must play ritual, almost certainly by accident.
