Last time I went to Windsor racecourse I saw a notice: CAUTION HORSES

Did I take extra care as I made my way to the entrance? No but I felt a strong urge to reach for a yellow card when I was at the pre-parade ring.

There's an episode of Jonathan Creek where the whole episode and what drives a man to death is down to a little black fly on a note that appears to be a comma. Completely changes the meaning of the sentence. They find the note after his death but the fly has fallen off and they can't work out how the note drove him to death. But Creek works it out. Clever stuff.

Punctuation. The difference between helping your Uncle Jack, off a horse. Or, helping your uncle jack off a horse.

I always backed caution horses and doubled my stake when trained by H Cecil.
