Musician Nick Cave’s son has died after falling from a cliff in Sussex. Sussex police confirmed to The Independent that 15-year-old Arthur Cave died after falling from the cliff at Ovingdean Gap. The teenager, who was the twin brother of Earl and son of singer Nick Cave and wife Susie Bick, was found by members of the public on the underpass of Ovingdean Gap at about 6pm on Tuesday. Although first aid was carried out at the scene, the 57-year-old performer’s son later died from his injuries in the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton. The death is not being treated as suspicious.
Remember being in Brighton's Churchill Square Shopping Centre about 4 or 5 years ago, and seeing some sort of giant Goth Pied Piper, coming towards us, down one of the ways.
Surrounded by about half a dozen, maybe more, little kids was Nick Cave all dressed in black, with these kids frantically trying to get his attention.
A surreal sight in a bright shopping mall. Arthur was probably one of them.
Sad news for the family

Always meant to listen to him a bit more than I have, one of those people that even if you're not a huge follower of, you know the world is a better place with blokes like him in it. This always brought a lump to my throat.
