Yes.......I am an animal / nature lover......

...but quite ridiculous.

...but....maybe it should be filed in the same folder as those who "RIP"  people that have died and that said "RIP er" (if that's a word or description) have never personally met or known but simply admired from afar!!!!!!!!!

Nowt wrong to show respect for someone famous who've entertained you in whatever way they were famous.
Agree sometimes it is taken to extremes, like in Dianas case, but a simple RIP is okay in my book.

....perhaps those who have left the memorials to the Raccoon have....

....in the past.....been entertained or given enjoyments by Raccoons!!!!!!!!!

...and it is their expression of an RIP.

People normally stop doing what they are doing when a hearse passes for instance.
