Do I believe in it ??? No , but someone changed that. What I'm about to tell you is gospel truth.
I'd been on a few dates with this woman and we got on the subject of things that cannot be explained. Anyway she asked me to grab a pen & paper and to write down three answers to these three questions and screw the paper up into my pocket afterwards.
So I left the room and wrote on the paper.
Question 1 - name ? I choose a name that I didn't know off. Gerrard
Question 2 - name a colour ? I began to write brown but half way through decided to change it bro to black.
Question 3 - think of a number in money ? I wrote for no reason £1.08p
Returned to the room and she just looked at me and started to write on a piece of paper. Then showed me the paper.
It read
Gerrard , brown with a line through it and black , £1.08p
I showed her my paper and was a bit freaked out. I asked her never to read my mind again and to promise me that. We are now married with children 15 yrs on. And she says she has never read my mind since that day. All 3 children are well above average at school for reading. They don't get their brains from me I can promise you.

That's quite a common trick, sir. A good one I'll grant you, but just a trick all the same.
Yes totally a trick agree. I don't believe in mind reading or any kind of magic. They are all tricks some more clevely done than others but still just a mind trick.
I used to do a spectacular card trick ...
Take a pack of cards and pull one out at random (say you randomly select 8 of clubs) look at it and and put it in your pocket - do this before you go on stage.
Then go out on stage and ask a member of the audience to come on stage and go through this routine with them ...
Pick a colour - red or back ... they say red ... you say that leaves black then.
then you say pick a range ... high or low 1 to 7 or 8 to king ... they say high ... you say pick another range ... 8 to 10, Jack to King.
and so on until they have picked the 8 of clubs.
And then you magically pull the 8 of clubs from your pocket, to gasps and shrieks of delight from the audience.
Of course, this doesn't work with older kids.
Bit like the mind reader thingy.
