BBC ARCHIVES - is anybody working there?

just wondering about the BBC archives. Some years ago they came across a version of Anna Karenina with Sean Connery? every so often they pop up and say they have found something else like dad's army lost episodes. How big is this archive? I get the feeling it's one old guy pottering about looking at labels on tins.

Where is the little world of Don Camillo with Brian blessed? It was featured on a cover of the radio times in the seventies. Has the BBC done its due diligence and made sure it is destroyed?

da bbc - bad eggs.
