Oil prices falling, supermarkets in trouble, bankruptcies increasing, terrorism threats- the 4 Hoarsemen of the Poxylips is mounted and there journey has started!

I hope this clarifies the matter!
Report Dr Crippen • January 14, 2015 1:26 PM GMT
Slicer you're such a comfort at times like these.
Report Slicer • January 14, 2015 1:30 PM GMT
Glad to be able to reassure you. No need to worry, because in 2 generations time, all loans will carry NO interest charges. The government of the Islamic Republic of Britain will not allow it!

I hope this further clarifies the matter!

Report Slicer • January 14, 2015 2:00 PM GMT
175 points is nothink. Just weight!
I watched the market live on Black Thursday.

Looks like my investment in options for jumping rights off Beachy Head might pay off in the near future!

Report Slicer • January 14, 2015 2:06 PM GMT
Are you telling me that an investor of your qualititude does not know! It is the Thursday before Black Monday, when those in the know syruptitiously and without effect on the markets. removed their funds from the markets before Black Monday 1987!

I hope this is of assistance!
Report Dr Crippen • January 14, 2015 2:13 PM GMT

Report Dr Crippen • January 14, 2015 3:15 PM GMT
Because they don't know what's going any more than the general public does Coachbuster.
They're a bunch of charlatans.

I was reading some interesting article about 7000 being some mental imaginary limit but I don't quite see how that could work, as the index is an aggregate of individual 100 share prices.

I doubt you wouldn't buy Tesco shares 3p higher than yesterday if you thought they were value, because you'd worked out that might push the FTSE over 7000? Doesn't make much sense.
Report Dr Crippen • January 14, 2015 11:28 PM GMT
Just Checking,
A mental imaginary limit eh?

And who was that who didn't know what he was talking about?
Report akabula • January 15, 2015 3:18 AM GMT
All this does is take from the poor(ish) and give to the rich.
The wee investor panics and sells. The big investor buys and the price rises.
Maybe an over simplification but that's the way of the market.
Report Dr Crippen • January 15, 2015 9:42 AM GMT

That's exactly what is happening.
You can watch their little games and follow them in and out if you learn to read the signs.
You don't have to be sucked in at the tops and shaken out at the bottoms.
Report Stow_judge • January 15, 2015 10:27 AM GMT
The drops should remind people that the one of the most significant part of investing for the amateurs should be protecting the principal and NOT chasing returns.
Report Dr Crippen • January 15, 2015 10:40 AM GMT
That support level t 6366 is proving a strong one. It's picked up again after going through it.
I don't know how long it will last this time though.

Report Dr Crippen • January 15, 2015 3:16 PM GMT
Up or down?

Am I bullish or bearish?
Definitely bearish at this point. The upside is weak.

There is a resistance level at 6500 on the upside, and another one at 6700 which will take some effort to go through if it gets there.

Nevertheless there wasn't much effort to go down after yesterday, it could have been expected to follow through today or perhaps tomorrow.

Anyone with an interest in this sort of stuff, and that includes anyone with money in pensions, funds etc should take a look at Sensible Investing.tv and watch the 3 Most Viewed videos.
