nothing wrong with capitalism. it just needs the guys at the top to get less of the cake so more of the icing drips down to the bottom. the better a company looks after its dogsbodies, the more profit that company usually makes. happy staff equals profit, fecked off staff equals bankruptcy.

Capitalism is like a game of monopoly. Once someone gets all the property and hotels then the other players are heading for bankrupcy. The only way out of it is to start a new game. Credit cards introduced in the 70s and 110% mortgages in the 2000s kept the game going a bit longer but ultimately the rich are getting richer and the rest are getting further and further in to debt. Don't think there's a solution whoever is in charge.

All 3 main party`s have their noses in the trough.
And all 3 leaders have more in common with each other than they do with us.
First things first it`s a fake democracy. All 3 main party`s have their noses in the trough. And all 3 leaders have more in common with each other than they do with us.
Is that real free market economics? you know, where if you didn`t want to work for a facist you could sell your own produce without be impinged by the authority without being classed as a nuisance?
For example being able to grow or sell fruit/veg or busk wherever you like in a public area unless the public deem you a nuisance? rather than corporations dictating your rights of passage to you.

no such thing as "free market" its bollox to pull wool over your eyes. And capitalism find its equilibrium when its a monopoly. Lets buy the competitor and his competitor and then everyone pays what we tell them to. So free market capitalism is just some spin

Socialist. I have no problem with a meritocracy but I wish to see a closing of the gap between rich and poor and a fairer society...the present situation is unsustainable. Revolution is inevitable unless change comes soon. No party represents the interests of the common man. You can fool some of the people all of the time ( London) or you can fool all of the people some of the time, but you can´t fool all of the people all of the time.
The corporations think they can turn the clock back to Victorian times with the help of a compliant police state but they are wrong.

Blairite minus Iraq and Religion. Cherry-pick the best policies - from wherever. Tory Governments historically benefit 8%. Are 92% dense?

You really think so? I see b*gger all appetite for it from Joe Public.
It normally takes a serious appetite for it in the 18-30 generation, and most of them don't give a flying proverbial.

..as I said before...the politicians hold less and less power and this will only get worse......voting for this or that party wont change the basic fact...
..those who control the money flows around the world are those who control the parameters in which the rest of society live....
as consolidations take place... ..more and more of the planets assets and commodities are controlled by fewer and fewer organisations and the people behind those organisations.....
even worse...there are more and more people chasing fewer and fewer of said commodities and resources...
.....the continuation of this system will never result in the gap between rich and poor being reduced....whichever type of party is in power....
it will simply get bigger and bigger.

know what you mean HM, but we can all hope. Revolt probably rather than revolution. The problem is that social control has never before been so complete and so sophisticated, while at the same time unions and worker unity has never been so weak. And, like you say, young people today are so apathetic.

Young people certainly arent like the students in Paris 1968 but what do you expect when you need a few k just to attend uni and that is just the clever ones

Since wars no longer wipe out entire generations we need some other disaster say an occasional epidemic that wipes out the social security dependent scroungers and non contributors resulting in a happy, crime free country with affordable house prices.I think of my politics as being just to the left of centre.
