Worse things to do of a saturday morning. What time did you do?
|
By:
Have done around 15 or so but I've been unable to the last 6 months. Best time around 20 mins thus far. They're quite addictive

The world record is prob something like 12 or 13 mins. I always find it amazing when I finish a run totally knackered and then find out that the womens world record is about half my time.

80 year old guy posted a bettor time than me |

Some people are just natural runners, regardless of age or gender. I am not one of them, really hurts just to do a cr@p time.

I did 4 marathons in 4 days, followed by 17 mars bars in 8 days, somebody was bounty to say something like that, so I got in first.

I remember doing a ten mile run when I was about 28 and getting beat by a 69 year old woman.

Brilliant way of getting a manageable competitive run in. FREE as well which is why they're so popular. I've done 60 odd of them over the years. Best time 16.51

One of my mates does this now and again. I go for a run most days. Living in the country it's pretty good having a few different places to go. If I lived in a city this sort of thing would be good to help motivate you.
I'm about the 39 mins for 10k level. Trying to get the time lower than that will take a whole new world of suffering so I don't think I'll bother! |

Did my first parkrun 4 years ago. Did my second one yesterday.
