Not quite as good as Life Of Brian, but right up there. Lick My Love Pump

big fan of life of brian too, but think spinal tap is miles ahead of it, i would also rate big lebowski higher than life of brian, still quality though

gets 11 out of 10 for me.

For some reason which is not entirely clear to me I've never seen it.I'll have to put it on my list of things to do.

you really should slippy, at first watch it kind of passed me by, but on a second viewing i was in pain with the laughter

Well if it is rated on a par with Life Of Brian and Lebowski I'll definitely enjoy it no question.

must have watched it over 50 times . still laugh at it.

the bit where artie fufkin introduces himself about 20 times, then his name comes up on screen, made me scream with laughter, and im not even sure if it was an intended joke

cant think what me fav scene is, too many to mention. fav character is liam faith, sorry ,ian faith.

Tap is funny - Man With Two Brains is bowel-unclenchingly hilarious

Just decided to watch this on youtube, by the wat didnt the comic strip do something similar ???

Bad News was the comic strip version, at the time I thought it was much better. Some controversy as to who was first, don't remember who it was.

It's such a brilliant film, and I thoroughly recommend the 'goes to eleven' version which was released recently.

Highlights for me:

The bit where the sandwiches are too small, but Tufnell says "I shall rise above it"

The bit where they get lost backstage and shout "Hello Cleveland" about six times.

"Lick my love pump"

Derek Smalls getting stuck in one of those pods (I think it was Smalls, can't be bothered to find out)

In response to dwindling audiences "We're not getting less popular, it's just our fans are more selective" (Something like that anyway)

I could go on.

top 5 imo.

there was a bit where they do a gig at an old peoples home.  the guy showing them round says something like "well its 1830 hours now, how about we kick off at 1900 hours".  The drummer, all confused says something like "what does that mean? we got like 50 hours?"

^ That was at an Airforce base during Tap's demise. Certainly a fine moment.
