i presume it means the main branch of the account, but i have no idea what it is cos the original branch closed down years ago. doesnt say any branch on the card or cheque book.

the sort code refers to a branch - try typing it into google
leave blank
or just write name of town/city of branch
or just write name of town/city of branch
ok thanks il just put the city. tried googling the sortcode but no luck.
