just found this in my HD storage (It was to Setanta )..
================================
Dear Sirs,

I have been paying £12-99 a month for your service via Channel 423 on Sky .

Every time there is a Live Match your channel shows no pictures and posts up a "Technical Fault" for the whole time the game is on , on odd occasions you do get bits of the Match but very distorted, so it is impossible to see or watch.

Other Sky Channels are working fine at the same time , including Skys own Live Football on channels 401 + 402 .

It is obvious you have been allocated a poor signal channel by the Sky company and I have today contacted Trading Standards Dept about it.

They have told me to put it in writing to you on a recorded Delivery letter , before I/they can proceed , so will I use your London address , or your Glasgow address for this ? ?

Please let me have the address to send the Recorded Delivery letter to.

Under the 1982 Supplier of Goods Act you are failing to provide the Service under the contract I am paying you for .

We are all totally dis-satisfied with your failure to supply pictures for Live Matches.

We are also dis-satisfied that you ignore individual complaints , and feel only a mass complaint , with maybe press + tv coverage , will get you to actually take some action to improve the situation and get SKY to give you a channel with a stronger signal that actually allows pictures to be Broadcast that can be seen by your paying customers.

As stated, this is happening over and over and is NOT an isolated incident (/match).

All we want from you is the service we are paying for.

Your reply is awaited, so I can proceed with the complaint via the correct address within your organisation.

Thank you.
jj

They were truly Satan's representatives on earth. Oddly enough when they screwed me the most they actually did me the biggest favour. Bless the direct debit guarantee and bankruptcy laws.

But they were liars and thieves.

I was quite happily paying £12.99 a month when they phoned me one day to ask if I would like it for £10.99.Hadn't indicated that I thinking of cancelling, wtf.

Yes they phoned me out of the blue and asked did I want to carry on paying 12.99 orr would I like to pay less. It was total comedy. Only thing was without warning a couple of months later they put it back up.

I thought the Setanta package was brilliant. They fecked up big time when they went after the Premiership rights. I'd bet that most people who subscribed to them couldn't have cared less if they'd never shown Prem football.
