I am amazed that caddyshack is always mentioned as some sort of comedy masterpiece.
I absolutely hated every single minute of it.

Way Out West must be on the list.
Within ten minutes on the film you get "D'oh", from which we get Homer Simpsons catchphrase.
The falling in the puddle gag that is repeatedly shown as the funniest part of Vicar of Dibley.
And the dancing scene repeatedly shown as the funniest part of the Royle Family.
In ten minutes. Now thats genius.

I am being serious when I say that all laurel and hardy films inc the shorties should be prescribed by doctors as a balm for depression, i dont laugh too often, but L and H are the only people who have actually made me laugh after a lady I once knew had rejected my advances...
