The weather in and around Gatwick is fine. Yes planes have been cancelled but not for a good reason.

Unless you are travelling from the isle of Skye it will be fine.

i just got back from vegas,its amazing

sirchristie, I live 12 miles south of Gatwick. Just started snowing.

Expect minor delays imo.

I'm about 20 miles south of Gatwick and it's currently snowing/sleeting and looks generally rank out there.

Saying that, the main roads are totally fine mate so you should be fine. Any A-road around here is totally fine, just stay off the minor ones and you'll be fine.
