At airports in northern Sweden they use warm sand to keep runways usable.
Experts say the sand can only be used in places where it is so cold that it will freeze instantly, otherwise it would get sucked up into the engines of the aircraft.

well i for one would buy a 4x4 with good tyres.

Im sure if we had winters like this more often we would prepare better and invest more, no point wasting money on something that rarely happens.
not according to the torys sonko, they would have stockpiles and stockpiles of the stuff and the country would never run out according to their transport spokesman,thats more money daves spending so can we add transport to the departments not being cut,have yet to hear off one tory cut yet besides the old cut the excess waste out,which every party has said for the last 50 yrs must have been some waste 50 yrs ago. i,ll add the unlimited stock piles to the following
