big time, major shine off my mouth from using Vaseline, only for the dry lips and nothing else, but they were still killing me, my girlfriend gave me some cream she had, it smelt and tasted like crap but it worked really well.
ii'm sure there are loads of innuendos in that paragraph but what can ya do

when you apply cream, apply it around your lips as well. Lips pull moisture from the skin around, so if that's dry it makes the lips even more dry.
