WHY DO PEOPLE

Travel vast distances on motorways daily to sit down in front of a computer and telephone,wasting vast amounts of resources in the process travel/fuel costs,+building heating costs etc,when they can do it at home? its totally nonsensical,people will say they are not monitored and might skive,but if they are allocated their work quota and complete it thats not the case
