Empire Strikes Back a shocking ommission IMHO
Surely the most triumphant sequel of all time. Im a big geek I could watch this film every day and never get bored. The Family Guy Parody is very good too
Also Return to Oz is quality

Empire Strikes Back & Godfather II are often mistakenly cited as being superior sequels. Godfather II is indeed superb but loses its way a bit with all the Hymen Roth-Cuba business, whereas Godfather hasn't a weak scene.

I beg to differ. I think The Empire Strikes Back is possibly the best sci-fi film ever made and whilst A New Hope is truly magnificent, it's not as good as the sequel.
Even Return of The Jedi is a better film than A New Hope IMHO.

unusually the**trilogy got progressively better imo
Shakespeare's Henry V, I don't think I've even seen the first four.
Godfather II was a finer film than the original imo.
No idea about Star Wars, always assumed it was a kids' film so never watched it or its afters.

Return of The Jedi gets a lot of stick. I think its a fitting end to an epic story (as stated before Ima massive sci fi geek)
Mama Mia 2 hasn't been made, but as the original was the worst film in the history of everdom, then it's a given. Shame on those saying Shrek 2 is better than Shrek - that is just crazy**ers.

Honest guv, I really did think Shrek 2 was the best of the Shrek films.

Fair enough Study! I think the 3rd Shrek does drop off somewhat, but I think the first 2 are by far and away the best of the glut of animated films of the last decade. Saw an advert for what promises to be the 4th and final one the other day, quite amusing. I'd much rather sit and watch Shrek with my two youngest than most of the crap produced these days!
