I've not had my daily dig at the smoke yet(well i might have but still)

It seems the swathe of rather light (but its cold so i guess it sticks) snow is slowly moving down south and you can tell by the national news that the bedwetting is about to begin as the danger that flakes could not only fall on the capital but a few luvvies might get snowed in...god forbid!

In the abscence of Swine Flu the media have been quoting "upto 40cm" of snow" and the no doubt the willy waving that comoes with "weve got more inches than you" will reach anyhting upto about 16" on my spread anyway!

I'd wager a chit chatter bid me 10"? do we have 10" anyone?

Is London effected yet by the great white storm?

Not yet, but London solicitors can't wait as they will get loads of complaints about racist snow.

In Russia, farmers used to go and put a layer of coal on top of the snow if any sun was breaking through. It'd absorb the suns heat rmore effectively and melt the snow, improving any germinating crops' survival. Once the snow was melted, they went round and picked the coal up again. Fact.
