Jewish Scientists were not working on the Nazi Bomb Project, they had been removed from their posts in the early 30s.
That is probably why it failed.
Many Jewish Scientists who had left Germany did take part in the development of the US Bomb.

I always thought that Germany didn't invade England because we beat them hands down in the Battle of Britain.
As for poisoned gas, Hitler didn't use it because he knew we would retaliate in kind. This was made quite clear to him.

You sure? I believe Scotland joined England in an act of union cos Scotland bankrupt themselves and had no option, it wasn't through war, sorry Betfair Scots(including me)
and how they bankrupt themselves? well they tried to start colonies as the English were doing but they failed miserably, starting in Panama, they had completely the wrong resources and completely fvcked themselves financially

punterfleecer, I accept that Scotland was skint after the SA debacle, but I think there was also the little case of the English navy embargo round Scotland preventing trade with France and Northern Europe and the threat to sink our trading ships.
In spite of this I don´t think the Act of Union was universally popular. Deep suspicions remained still from past conflicts and still do to this day. Considering that Thatcher/Blair have since annexed the North Sea oilfields as part of English waters the dissenters have been proved right.
