Been before, wondered about any alternative itineraries to the usual tramp.
I'm not one of these "god i hate tourists ruining everything" type of people, but full moon parties leave me feeling a little disgusted with the human race. That said, i'm not adverse to a bit of fun and adventure.
(slightly) alternative back packing routes please!

If you've got time to head north, Pai is well worth a visit
if you are going from Bangkok to the South, get the train. wonderful day and night and day journey. but fly back
dunno probably book a flight this week and go the next. I'm flexible (unemployed) - thought a month would be nice. ;)
