Let's say I put a tenner now on Deep Purple without the fav in the KG. Then Kauto doesn't run, so Imperial Commander is fav. If Deep Purple finishes 2nd to Imperial Commander, then my bet should be a winner, shouldn't it?
My point is that they seem to misleadingly advertise it as betting without the fav, instead of betting without a named horse.
The owner of Deep Purple comes in my shop , he always gives me the low down on his horses, he rates Deep Purple very highly, but he told me of a new horse he has called Phidipides ,says its one of the best he has ever had, better than Hors at the same age, told me a few weeks ago to watch for it in a novice hurdle and to " put my shop on it " I duly did.
