A woman, who appears to have a slurred voice, called 999 to report that her cat was playing with string and it was 'doing her head in'.
She said it was an emergency because it had 'been going on for two hours now'.

This was on the BBC TV news tonight, the woman is obviously an attention seeker,

I work in an ambulance call centre, it's not unusual for old ladies to ring wanting a lift home with their shopping :(
