Anyone where you can get a month by month account of unemployment figures for the last year or so and more historically. When lookig at office of national statistics siite it just had graphs and vagueness. maybe i didn't use the site properly.
2.8m would be something of a result though there are obv. millions of others. I know that the govn't can "hide" the jobless in certain ways, but they always did, even when we had 3m unemployed under Major.

The official figures are for the number of people claiming jsa I believe.
At the very least it is an indication. I don't really need an absolute number (what does 2800000 actually mean to the man in the streetanyway) I just want to see some overall historical figures so I can have a look for peaks and troughs and how they relate to each other.
