The odour emitted by my dog is very similar to that of Basmati Rice.

becuase its very cold Labs put a kids of protective oil out of the pours .. My brown labs head honks at the moment

Possibles that I'm sure you've already thought about:

Needs a bath
Been rolling in something whilst you've been out walking
Diet related. Labs are notorious for eating everything in sight and it could be the culmination of the Xmas festivities.

I guess if it carries on and you feel concerned it's time to visit the vets.

Feet smelling like popcorn is another they say.

Interesting Rabbit, I have a brown lab and there is no smell at all.

My two Labs both stink all the time. hence why they live outside. Mine smell as they are so keen to 'clear up' after the cats......you can imagine

I don't have to imagine, I've seen all that first hand with my nutcase! She's had the bin over outside to get babies nappies out to rip open to eat the contents.
